What is a good office table? A work desk, or office table as we commonly know it, is one of the most essential component of an office. We’ve put together a real quick checklist for you so you can be sure that table is worth proposing to your client! 

 

1. Durable Work Top

Resistance to scratches and water is what we are watching for here. Melamine work top is a great choice because not only is it shatter, scratch and water resistant, it is also a cost-effective option with wide ranging possibilities in hues and finishes.

2. Strong Table Legs

Cold-rolled steel or epoxy aluminium power coated legs are the recommended material.

Cold-Rolled Steel: A material favoured for its increased strength and attractive surface finish. Having cold-rolled steel table frame and legs will provide sturdiness and durability to high-use furniture.

Epoxy Powder Coated Aluminium Legs: Light, corrosion-resistant, and durable, epoxy powder coated aluminium legs ensure that the desks can withstand the rigours of a workday without losing aesthetics because the material can be modelled into stylish shapes in a variety of colours.

3. Cable-Management System

Messy cables are not only an eye-sore, they are an office hazard! Look out for office tables with smart cable-management systems that will help your client’s office look spick and span!
